Too many commitments can weigh you down and prevent you from reaching your goals. Focus! Say no! Rope in other people!
Commitment is the more practical younger sister of focus. It's about doing specific things (regularly) and NOT doing a lot of other things. Take a stand in front of yourself. Then take it public.
How do you notice your values are violated when things slip slowly? One way is checking in with your body.
Life can be pretty complex to navigate. Where do you get your guidance from? Outside? Inside? Both? Which one is your default? How else can you navigate?
Your values as a leader will always shine through anyway. Even better if you can invite open conversations. Let your values guide the way (success and integrity are two of mine that I had great conversations around). During crunch times, you are going to be glad you initiated these. What helps you breach the subject?
