Find what works and do more of it

Simple, eh? Are we doing it though?

More often than not, we bang our head against the wall repeatedly, true to the well-worn definition of insanity: “doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results”. Don’t be that person.

While I really love the smell of frameworks in the morning, keeping it simple really helps to lower the barrier to make things happen.

Let’s try to take a step back and take stock: What are the bits that are working? Which elements are more helpful than others? Focus on these. Do more of these. Actually do it. And then take stock again, evaluate and fine tune.

This of course means you have to do the work. There are no magic formulas. But start doing more of what works, and watch things improve. A lot of things really are that simple.
